Dear customers,

The Turkish port of Iskenderun, which was badly affected by the earthquake along the Turkish-Syrian border, is still in full shutdown. Although the fire caused by the container has been brought under control by the authorities, there is still no information on the damage.

Therefore, Cosco Shipping Consolidated recommends that you contact your local sales/customer service representative to change the destination as soon as possible. In order to speed up the process and reduce losses, we are further waiving the following charges for imported goods affected by the earthquake, which were booked before 10 February 2023 and have not yet arrived at Port Iskenderen:

- Exemption of COD and ENA fees for imported goods from Iskenderun Port;

- All transit fees incurred before 15 March 2023 are exempt, including Re-nomination charge, Storage charge and demurrage charge.

- Exemption of re-stowage charge for imported goods in Iskenderun due to change of port.

Cosco Shipping Lines will continue to follow the development of the incident and express deep concern and sympathy for the people affected by the earthquake. It is our mission to take action, take responsibility and improve customer satisfaction.
